do i need to stay with my child?
We know how busy all parents are , so our after school classes are designed so that you can drop and run!
What kind of art and craft do you do?
There is no real answer to this question... because there are no real limits to the new crafts we try. The art changes each week and each term. Of course, we paint and use clay, we use yarn and recyclables, but we may dye things, or flower press, make paper, create sticker collages, use beeswax, use fabrics and glass, weave, sew, stitch - who knows!
Do they come home with art every week?
Some weeks yes, and some no! Some projects may take multiple afternoons to complete and some are left on display for the term in the Studio. We also create lots of little crafts throughout the term that can be taken home on the same day. It all depends!
what do i need to bring?
Please make sure your child comes with a water bottle. You are welcome to pack an after school snack if you like.
will clothes get messy?
Yes! Please wear older clothes that can get paint on them. You may want to pack a change of clothes in their school bag. Families are welcome to provide an labelled apron that we can keep in store. School uniforms will likely get marks on them if worn.
can i bring them early?
Please only arrive a few minutes before the class begins. We need time to set up the materials and make sure everything is ready to go!
Lost property
We often have school hats, water bottles and little bits and bobs left behind. You can pick these up from the lost property basket during the week from Wednesday to Saturday (10am-5pm) or message the Studio if you are needing it asap.
