A local Tamworth artist and craft enthusiast! The Tiny Studio is more than just a place for art and crafts – it's a dream realised. A space where Abby can share her passion and the joy of colour and creativity with others!
The Studio story...
With nearly 10 years of experience as an early childhood educator and the mother of two children herself, Abby understands the importance of fostering creativity in young minds. She often found herself dreaming of a space where children could freely express themselves outside of traditional school and childcare environments – a space just as colourful and fun as the imaginations it aimed to inspire.
Posies Next Door
Abby embarked on a journey to create The Tiny Studio pairing with Jess Kelly, the creative force behind Posies Flowers – Tamworth's cutest new pink cafe, florist, and fashion boutique. Abby and Jess shared the vision of creating a space that radiated joy and creativity, a happy hub that could bring the community together. Abby's unique artworks adorn the walls of Posies, adding a pop of colour to the funky coffee shop, while The Tiny Studio itself is open for school children, adult and children's workshops, events and parties.
A Note from Abby
“I just love art and craft - it’s my happy place! When it comes to crafting, I’ve always dived right in (especially if I can make it pink!) From painting to sewing, pottery to paper crafts, I'm always eager to give anything a try. Crafting isn't just a hobby for me – it's a source of pure joy and an outlet for everything I’m feeling and holding inside! It’s a time I can be myself, and be free, to not follow rules or worry about failure.
I love helping others find this joy. It truly is so magical creating something with your own hands, pouring your time and patience into every stitch or stroke."
