Beginners Knitting workshop

Join us for a fun and relaxing beginners’ knitting workshop!

This special two-part workshop will be led by talented local artist Marie Larkin, a Tamworth-based visual artist and experienced educator. Marie holds a Bachelor of Visual Art Education and brings over 30 years of creative teaching experience in schools, TAFE and regional galleries.

Marie’s artistic journey began with award-winning embroidered works that celebrated everyday life, before evolving into the richly layered, textural style she’s known for today.

This workshop is a parent-and-child duo experience - a beautiful way to learn together and take home skills you can build on to create all kinds of works. 

-  Cost: $160 per duo (includes both participants)

- Sessions: Two ×1.5/ 2-hour classes (you’ll return for a second session)

- Group size: a cosy and small class so Marie can get around to help everyone.  Maximum 4 duos per class

1. Yarn (approximately $10, price may vary): Lion Brand Hue Me 125g – Salt (in a light colour so you can see your stitches)
