TCMF “Horse with no name” Clay Cactus 7+ Friday 17th January 10:30-12pm

*RETURNING WORKSHOP - Let your child’s creativity bloom in our Clay Cactus Wall Hanging Workshop, perfect for kids aged 7+! Held on Friday, 17th January, from 10:30am–12pm, this 1.5-hour session is a hands-on experience that combines art, texture, and sensory exploration.

Starting with a lump of clay, kids will shape and transform it into a unique cactus-inspired wall hanging. Using rolling pins, shaping tools, sponges, and water, they’ll smooth, texturise, and personalise their cactus with spikes, stripes, flowers, or even their name! Once their masterpiece is ready, they’ll add a layer of underglaze paint before it’s kiln-fired to perfection.

After firing, their sturdy, one-of-a-kind wall hanging will be ready for pick-up and can find a permanent place in your home as a treasured keepsake. This workshop is fantastic for developing fine motor skills, encouraging attention to detail, and providing a relaxing, creative outlet for little makers during the school holidays and CMF!
